Infrastructure & Agentic Software
Yahost operates two practices on one architecture: self-hosted infrastructure — identity, DNS, mail, backup, AI — and application development built on collaborating AI agents rather than a single model doing everything alone.

Practice 01
Six disciplines, one architecture. Each is built to interoperate rather than bolted on.
CONSULTING
Client analytics, segmentation, and profitability modeling built on data pipelines we own end-to-end.
AI / ML
Self-hosted language models and computer-vision pipelines for analytics and automation — no data leaves the network.
PLATFORM
Fleet-wide container orchestration with automated updates, health checks, and observability baked in from the start.
IDENTITY
LDAP-backed identity with SSO in front of every internal and family-facing service — one credential, everywhere.
NETWORK
Software-defined networking, segmented VLANs, and WireGuard VPN access that fails closed, not open.
RESILIENCE
Redundant, deduplicated backup repositories with routine garbage collection and restore verification — not just backup jobs that "ran."
Practice 02 — where we're expanding
Application development built around teams of AI agents, not a single model asked to do everything.
Most "AI features" bolt a chatbot onto an existing app. We build the application around a working group of agents — each with a narrow job, a way to hand off to the next one, and a point where a human signs off. It's the same discipline as the infrastructure practice, applied to software: inspectable, owned, and built to keep running after the interesting part is done.
AGENT DEVELOPMENT
Production software where specialized agents divide a task, pass context between each other, and check one another's work — instead of one model bluffing its way through all of it.
ORCHESTRATION
Pipelines that route work between agents and people at the right points: automated where it's repeatable, escalated to a human where judgment is actually needed.
INTEGRATION
Agents wired into the systems you already run — APIs, databases, internal tools — so they can act on your operations, not just describe what they'd do.
The specifics behind the practice areas — how it's actually built.
Approach
Own the stack, or the stack owns you.
Most infrastructure fails quietly — a stale certificate, a resolver with no failover, a backup nobody restored to check. Yahost treats operations as a first-class discipline, not an afterthought bolted onto whatever ships fastest.
That means monitoring before an outage, redundancy before a single point of failure gets discovered the hard way, and documentation that survives the person who wrote it. Systems built this way don't need to be exciting. They need to be there.
We work the same way for clients as we do for ourselves: self-hosted where it counts, automated where it's repeatable, and always inspectable — no black boxes in the critical path.
